While summer is often a time at which a young man (or young lady) enjoys the freedom and room for spontaneity that comes with being single, the lack of sunlight and warmth that comes with the approaching winter months also carries along with it a sense of loneliness and desire for companionship. Because of this, many a relationship is forged during the winter months. Between now and the new year there will be a plethora of holiday parties which will provide the opportunity for many an alcohol fueled holiday encounter with a member of the fairer sex. Often, a young man hit by the loneliness of winter will become over anxious in the aftermath of this encounter and attempt to fall in love before the ball drops on new years eve.
